This is PR for Hulkenberg. Why would RB pick Hulk over of Perez? Perez beat back to back Hulkenberg and got 5 podiums (for none from the German) while both were together at Force India. Additionally and only additionally, Perez has got sponsors that may come handy to RB as they will need to buy from Honda their F1 engine program. The issue here is that Perez would like a multiyear contract with RB whereas RB may be looking for a single year as the rules will change and the young Japanese driver may turn out to be a contender. The optimal for Perez is a single year contact for 2021 with RB and a pre contract for 2022 onwards with Williams. But what if Rusell for once and all delivers...These are the real reasons for the delay , Albon decision is already taken and there are no second opportunities for Gasly or any other unmotivated drivers.21-10-2020 02:04
